Embers Grill employees say protocol not followed during raid

Broken Arrow, Okla. — The Creek Nation Light Horse Police are accused of violating protocol during a raid in Broken Arrow at the Embers Grill near the Creek Turnpike and 129 East Avenue.

Restaurant employees say officers did not identify themselves before they instructed employees to get on the ground at gunpoint last week.

We're told a letter has been sent to the Department of Justice of Indian Affairs, asking for an investigation into how the employees were treated during the raid.

Officers were searching for illegal gaming at the restaurant.
