Elderly man attacks victim during case of road rage

An elderly man became so angry while driving Wednesday morning, not even a gun would stop him.

Broken Arrow police say the road rage case happened near Elm and Houston.

71-year-old Steven Bailes is accused of following another man to his place of business.

Police say the victim pulled a handgun, but that didn't stop Bailes.  It just made him angrier.

Once parked, Bailes got out and charged the man with a flash light.

He went over to the victim's vehicle and began striking the window with his flashlight.

Bailes didn't stop there.

Police say he then jumped back into his vehicle, and tried to run over the vehicle multiple times.

When officers arrived at the scene, they arrested him for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and malicious injury to property.

No shots were fired and nobody was serious injured.
