Earthquakes pummel central Oklahoma for 2nd straight day

Six small earthquakes hit about 25 miles northeast of Oklahoma City Wednesday.

The US Geological Survey says 10 quakes hit the same area on Tuesday.

The latest tremors ranged in magnitude from 2.8 to 3.4 and each was centered near Luther.

One of those was a 4.3 magnitude.

The earthquakes come a day after 10 were recorded in the same area.

An Oklahoma County sheriff's spokesman says there have been no reports of
damage or injury.

Geologists say earthquakes of magnitude 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest that are felt by humans.

There were also no injuries reported as a result of the Tuesday quakes.
