Drug suspects arrested after 7-mile high-speed chase

Suspects flee from attempted traffic stop

Tulsa police used a traffic violation to try to crack down on neighborhood burglaries.

Police chased a driver from near 31st and Yale to near 71st and Riverside after he failed to use a turn signal about 12:45 a.m. Friday.

"We were able to use our tire-deflation system and deflate the tires of the vehicle slowing the pursuit down dramatically," Tulsa Police Corporal Jerrod Hart said.

He tells us Kyle Kirkland and Casey Adkins tossed marijuana out of the car near 6800 Riverside Drive before they were arrested at an address near 7300 South Saint Louis Avenue.
