The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety has some good news for drivers.
The DPS says there were fewer deaths on Oklahoma roads and highways this July compared to July 2012.
DPS says 51 fatalities were reported on Oklahoma roadways in July; there were 60 highway deaths reported in July 2012.
Three pedestrians died in traffic related crashes in July as well.
The agency says 12 of the deaths this July were motorcyclists.
The highest daily fatality numbers include ten deaths on Saturdays.
There were just six days during the month in which no fatalities were reported.
Oklahoma County had the highest number of fatalities at nine, followed by Tulsa with seven.
One fatality crash in July was alcohol-related.
The agency says 52 percent of those who died in traffic collisions in July were not wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.
