Tulsa, Okla. — An off-duty sheriff's deputy is assaulted while trying to stop a shoplifter.
We're told the suspect punched the deputy at the Warehouse Market near Independence and Sheridan around six yesterday evening.
EMSA was called to the scene.
The suspect was cited, but not arrested.
