Deputies say man choked his wife, stole her teeth

The arrest report says Garry Wayne Hill was angry because she hid money from him

A Sand Springs man found himself in jail over the weekend after reportedly attacking his wife, stepping on her throat, beating her, and forcibly taking her teeth from her mouth and refusing to give them back.

According to an arrest and booking report obtained by KRMG, Garry Wayne Hill, 58, was arrested at his home in the 14500 block of W. Gomez in Sand Springs by Tulsa County deputies.

The couple had argued about money, according to the victim, who told deputies she had hidden about $2,000 in her shoe where he could not find it.

He also took her teeth out of her mouth and refused to return them to her, and took her cell phone so she could not call for help.

She told deputies Hill put his foot on her throat, cutting off her airway and leaving her unable to breath.

He eventually took her to her mother's home, at which point she called deputies to report the attack.

Hill was booked on a complaint of domestic assault and battery by strangulation.

He was released from jail after posting a $10,000 bond.

Hill has a court date scheduled for Jan. 21.
