Death threats made against local and state election leaders

The group, or individual, is upset about the outcome of the 2020 presidential election

TULSA — KRMG has learned that the FBI believes there is a credible threat against Tulsa County Election Board Secretary Gwen Freeman and Secretary of the State Election Board Paul Ziriax.

Here’s a statement from Secretary Freeman:

“It is unfortunate that threats against election officials across the country have become a reality since the 2020 Presidential election.  The threats made against me and State Election Board Secretary Paul Ziriax have been turned over to the proper law enforcement agencies for investigation and we are grateful for their assistance in this matter.”

The FBI continues investigate who is behind the threats.

Former President Donald Trump did win in Oklahoma.
