The new overpass is at 116th St N on Highway 75.
The intersection has been in need of a change for quite some time.
The busy stretch of highway has led to many traffic accidents when drivers attempt to enter the highway from 116th.
Construction started a few months back and is expected to be completed by this fall.
Some of the accidents have even been fatal.
Traffic on 116th St N has no access to highway 75 at this time.
By now, drivers on the heavily traveled road have found alternate routes, but it won’t be long before the new overpass will be completed and the area will flow better than ever.
