Creek County accident claims life of Tulsa man

An overnight accident west of Bristow claims the life of a 41-year-old Tulsa man.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 41-year-old Deaon L. Johnson was driving westbound on the Turner Turnpike when his SUV left the highway and rolled several times before coming to rest on its top.

Troopers say the crash happened around 4 a.m. Tuesday morning.

OHP lists the cause of the accident as “unsafe speeds for road conditions.”

Johnson was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
