Fri, June 23, 2017 — A Tulsa couple is accused of fabricating symptoms in their 1-year-old child and admitting her to multiple hospitals around the area.
It's called Munchausen by proxy and police tell us this is a rare case.
“It is normally the mother who does that,” police said. “It’s rare to see the father as well.”
The couple was caught when a doctor discovered the young child already received a medication the couple was asking for.
David Dodson and Veronica Reed have been booked into the Tulsa County Jail.
