Cops tase man dressed as the Statue of Liberty......three times

Lady Liberty refused to leave street corner

We’ve all seen them.. Those people dressed as characters standing on street corners playing air guitar and singing or dancing like no one is watching.

Turns out in Ft. Worth, someone was.

A 19 year old man was working the intersection for Liberty tax Services when police asked him to leave.

When he refused to take his torch and go, cops tased him, THREE TIMES.

You see in Ft. Worth, it’s illegal to distract drivers and generally draw attention to yourself in an intersection.

A blog called LoweringtheBar said the officer was probably in the right but added "even if arresting somebody dressed as the Statue of Liberty is justified, you really should try to make sure diplomacy has completely failed before resorting to force."

In this case diplomacy gave way to voltage and the offender was removed.
