Cool summer means big bucks for Tulsa meat market

The cooler than usual summer is turning into cold hard cash for one Tulsa meat market.

Below average temperatures mean above average sales for Cimarron Meat Company.

The reason? Manager Jeff Workman believes many folks are staying home. Workman says, "They're sticking around home more instead of going to the pool or the lake to cool off."

Cimarron Meat Company is located on the southeast corner of 81st and Harvard.

Workman says business is good now and he expects business to pick up even more once football season starts.

Workman tells KRMG that his company focuses on all natural, hormone and antibiotic free beef, pork and chicken as well as locally grown dairy products.
