Clark Howard warns consumers should do more about Computer Hacking

Computer hackers and security breaches are making headlines almost every day.

But KRMG's Consumer Warrior Clark Howard says people aren't DOING as much as they could or should to protect themselves.

So what should you do...?

"For us in Georgia, only costs a total of 9 dollars, 3 dollars per credit bureau, and even if somebody gets all your personal information, they can't do anything with it," Clark says.

Clark says, the best thing: CREDIT FREEZE.

Besides that, other experts say people should check their credit reports, change online passwords at retailers' websites, and maybe even request a new credit or debit card number from your bank.
