We're learning more about what caused around 50 homes to be without water on Saturday in Claremore.
Police at the scene report a woman fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into a fire hydrant near Blue Starr Drive and North Chambers. This caused water to come shooting out.
The unidentified woman was ticketed for inattentive driving. She also received a ticket for eluding because she went to a nearby friend's home along with her passenger to call police.
Officers report she shouldn't have left the scene of the crash.
