Chef quits job over fear of beans

No word on how he feels about squash

It's called leguminophobia, and Rob Griffiths has a big case of it.

Griffiths claims he had to leave his job because he felt faint every time he saw one of the “orange devils.”

The chef told Metro he developed the fear when his brothers threw beans at him when he was young.

Griffith says the pub he worked for in England served a lot of beans, making his job a nightmare.

“I get shaky and I just have to run if they’re anywhere near me,’ he noted.

“Staff had to prepare the beans while I hid in the back,” he admitted.

So what does a chef who can’t be a chef do? Become a window washer, of course.

“It is very distressing,’ he shrugged.
