Tulsa, Okla. — A man faces charges for Tulsa's 45th homicide this year.
Mitchell Carter (shown) was taken from the police station to jail last week.
Police say Carter shot 39-year old Elijah Lindsey last month near Apache and Harvard.
Carter is charged with first degree murder.
We're told Lindsey was pistol-whipped and shot in the head.
