Chances are, you drive on a deficient bridge every day in Oklahoma

Oklahoma's bridges are bad and are getting worse. That's according to just-released date from the National Transportation Safety Board.

Nearly 1 in 4 bridges in the Sooner state is deficient. Only Pennsylvania has a higher percentage

Oklahoma has 23,778 bridges. 22.6%, or 5,382 are considered deficient.

The NTSB says the average daily traffic on deficient bridges in Oklahoma is 7,236,161.

That's an increase of 77, or 1.5%, since the NTSB last released numbers in 2011.
