Carjacking at Walmart, vehicle located burning minutes later

Suspect armed with handgun

Tulsa police are looking for a carjacker who took a car at gunpoint from a Walmart customer on the store's parking lot at 207 South Memorial Drive about 4:05 a.m. Friday.

"He was approached by either a Hispanic or Asian male who took (the car) at gunpoint and demanded his keys to his car," Tulsa Police Corporal R.W. Solomon said.

We're told the carjacker drove away from the Walmart.

The car was found on fire about fifteen minutes later near Highway 169 and the Broken Arrow Expressway, but the carjacker was gone.

The victim was not injured.
