Car catches fire in single-vehicle crash, driver dies

Sun, April 23, 2017 — A person is dead, following a single-vehicle crash Saturday night in Tulsa.

The fatal collision happened around 9:15 p.m., on West 61st Street.  So far, the circumstances behind the crash hasn’t been announced.

“TFD was at the scene with a vehicle fully-engulfed in flames,” police said. “The collision consisted of a single vehicle and single occupant.”

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.  As of early Sunday morning, the name of the driver hasn’t been released.
