Broken Arrow trying to prevent football concussions

Broken Arrow Public Schools is doing everything they can to protect their football players from concussions.

The booster club recently purchased 100 Guardian Caps, at $3,000. The soft foam fits snug around the helmet and players can see and feel a big difference.

“I can definitely feel the difference with head impacts,” one player said.  “I mean when you’re on the line, you’re out here every day for two hours just hitting heads.”

Would you prevent your children from playing football due to concussions?  Let us know in the comments.

The Guardian Cap is designed to reduce the impact to the head from hits.
