Broken Arrow teen found not guilty of raping friend

Update:  KRMG has learned Josiah Kesler has been found not guilty of the crime.

In fact, the case has been expunged from his record.  KRMG also went on OSCN to verify and the case does not exist.

Original: We've learned a Broken Arrow 19-year-old is accused of raping a woman, and then sending her a text admitting to the crime.

Police say Josiah Kesler was booked into the Tulsa County Jail on Saturday.

The victim told officers she was a long time friend of Kesler and they had hung out earlier in the day.  Police say she was at her home near Florence and Elm, when Kesler entered her room.

Without talking, he's said to have forced himself on the victim.

The victim told police she stayed quiet because she was fearful of his experience with karate, and the fact that he carried multiple knives on him.

Kesler was later arrested at his home.  Police say he "spontaneously" admitted something to his parents while being taken into custody, but what he said was redacted in his booking report.
