Broken Arrow replacing 40-year-old fire station on Elm Street

The new fire station is part of the Build Our Future BA GO Bond approved in 2018.

BROKEN ARROW — Fire Station #7 on Elm Place, north of New Orleans Street in Broken Arrow is being replaced by a brand new, $3.6 million building after 40 years.

The new station is being built after voters approved the construction project as a part of the Build Our Future Broken Arrow General Obligation Bond package in 2018.

Located at First and Washington Streets, the new Fire Station #7 is being constructed just a mile away from the old location.

Most of the construction is expected to be completed by September of this year.

The new facility will feature full-service living quarters, a battalion chief set up, a four-bay apparatus, and other much-needed upgrades.
