Breaking: Prime Minister calls missing plane "deliberate"

It has been a week since Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 went missing, and now officials believe it was a "deliberate" action.

On Saturday, Prime Minister Najib Razak told reporters data indicated the plane deviated because of "deliberate" action.

"Malaysian authorities have refocused their investigation on crew and passengers aboard," Najib says. "Evidence is consistent with someone acting deliberately from inside the plane."

Still, Razak stopped short of using the word "hijacked."

"Despite media reports that the plane was hijacked, we are investigating all major possibilities on what caused MH370 to deviate," Najib said.

The search has now been widened to the Turkmenistan-Kazakhstan border area and from southern India to Indonesia.

Fight 370 disappeared on March 8, with 239 people aboard the plane.
