A 4-year-old girl is recovering, after getting attacked.
Logan County deputies tell Newsok.com they responded to a domestic call.
The girl's mother told deputies her boyfriend, Jonathan Goodman, had attacked them.
Deputies say the mother then tried to leave the home with her child, but Goodman wouldn't let them. He's said to have fired multiple shots in their direction with a rifle.
No word on what started the argument, but deputies were told Goodman began to punch and choke the child. When the mother tried to intervene, he threw objects at her.
Nobody was hit by the shots.
When deputies arrived at the scene, Goodman first threatened to shoot himself. After a short time, he changed his mind and was taken into custody.
Goodman is currently in the Logan County Jail.
