BOK Center opens new River Spirit Lounge

Lounge has its own entrance on outside of arena

If you’re looking for a place to grab a drink or a bite to eat before a concert or game at the BOK Center, you can now find one inside the BOK Center ITSELF.

They had the official ribbon-cutting this morning for the River Spirit Lounge inside the arena in downtown Tulsa.

This is not to be confused with the event center at River Spirit Casino at 81st and Riverside, which also has many concerts.

The lounge is on the main concourse level of the BOK Center and has its own entrance on the outside of the building on the northeast side.

The Muscogee-Creek Nation bought the River Spirit naming rights for the lounge for the next ten years.

Muscogee-Creek Casino CEO Pat Crofts says it will open up early before events.

“Y’know, getting in early, it’s always a challenge downtown here, pre-and-after concerts, where you’re going to meet up and have a drink and wait for the traffic to clear. I think the product came out really, really nice,” Crofts said.

Anyone who has an event ticket can get in. Kids are even welcome. They just can’t go in the bar area.
