Man shot while working on his car

Police in Bartlesville are looking for a killer on this Thursdsay morning. A man was shot late Wednesday night while he was working on a car in his driveway. Cops released the following statement early Thursday.

     On May 15, 2013 at 10:29 pm Bartlesville Police responded to a call of possible gun shots being fired in the area of Adaline and Margarite streets in North West Bartlesville. Officers arrived on scene and discovered a male subject had been shot while working on a car in the front yard of a residence in the 100 block of NW Margarite. Fire and Ambulance responded but the victim died at the scene. 46 year old Bartlesville resident Douglas Wayne Diaz was pronounced dead at the scene from a gunshot wound. Police are working this case as a homicide at this time.
