'Back to BA' hopes to spur more local shopping in Broken Arrow

During this busy holiday shopping season, businesses in Broken Arrow are hoping that people will do some of that shopping locally.

Stacy Davis moved to Broken Arrow from Michigan four years ago and liked the area so much that she opened the Alli Balli boutique in the Rose District.

She says she's seen studies that show 67 cents of every dollar spent in Broken Arrow, stays in Broken Arrow in one way or another, most importantly in sales tax money.

Besides that, she feels like local businesses will give you better service than you'll get online.

“So that's your schools, your emergency workers, your roads,” she says.
