Auto shop burglars leave evidence behind - their ID’s

Tulsa, Okla. — Tulsa police are looking for several burglary suspects who were able to outrun the victim - for a while.

An auto repair shop near 4400 South 91 East Avenue was burglarized just before 1 a.m. Monday, setting off an alarm that notified the owner of the shop and Tulsa police.

“When they attempted to exit onto Yale from 31st with the business owner chasing them they exited too fast,” Tulsa Police Sergeant Darren Bristow said.

Police recovered the stolen property along with the suspects' i-d's, but the suspects have not been located.

The vehicle “rolled. All of the occupants crawled out of the vehicle and fled on foot.”
