Auto-pedestrian accident turns into altercation,

Tulsa, Okla. — A fight starts after an auto-pedestrian accident.

The incident involved a man with his vehicle parked in the street around 11:45 p.m. Thursday.

The driver struck the man while driving on South Gary Place.

Tulsa Police Corporal Amy McCarty said, “One (of the men) was getting something out of his truck or putting something in his truck before midnight and the other (man) was on is way home so they didn’t know each other.”

The victim was not seriously hurt, but the driver was arrested for possibly driving under the influence at the scene near East 15th Street and South Harvard Avenue.
