Tulsa, Okla. — An accident is under investigation affecting the eastbound lanes of the Turner Turnpike at the Tulsa gate.
The accident happened around 8 p.m. Thursday and involved two vehicles, including an SUV.
We're told a FedEx truck at the scene may have had hazardous material on board.
The driver was traveling in the wrong direction on the roadway.
Sapulpa police say one person died in the SUV that was involved in the collision.
One eastbound lane at the bridge was opened for traffic at 4:30 a.m.
