All of the Republicans in the U.S. Senate challenge the vaccine mandate

The Oklahoma attorney general has also challenged the mandate

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Senator James Lankford, of Oklahoma, joined the 49 other Republicans in the Senate to file a formal challenge against President Joe Biden’s vaccine mandate under the Congressional Review Act (CRA).

The move to overturn President Biden’s vaccine mandate for private employers is now guaranteed a vote on the Senate floor.

A vote could happen as soon as early December.

President Biden announced the vaccine mandates for companies with more than 100 workers in September.

“President Biden is playing a game of chicken with Oklahomans’ lives and livelihoods, said Sen. Lankford. “No one should have to choose between their job and their personal health care decisions.”
