The annual Saint Francis Tulsa Tough returns in June 2021 after being canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Organizers said they chose to move forward with the event with the best interest of the community in mind.
“Based upon the information we have available to us now, we are prepared to move forward with plans to conduct the 15th Saint Francis Tulsa Tough June 11-13, 2021.”Organziers wrote on Facebook.
The host program that usually offers housing to out-of-town competitors is not happening this year.
The ongoing COVID-19 situation as forced organizers to make some changes.
Executive Director Malcom McCollam told KRMG there’s a lot of excitement around this year’s event.
“I honestly think we might be looking at a record year in terms of attendance and participation.” McCollam said.
