Abducted children found safe in Oklahoma City, Amber Alert cancelled

Children believed to be in danger

An Amber Alert has been cancelled after a pair of children missing from Lincoln County, Oklahoma, were found safe this afternoon at an Oklahoma City apartment complex.

7-year-old Kylee Nichols and her 4-year-old brother Blake Nichols were abducted by their mother, 30-year-old Misty Hausam, around 7:15 Thursday morning.

Investigators tell KRMG that the children were believed to be in danger which led to the Amber Alert.

Hausam is said to be mentally unstable and uses drugs heavily.

Court records indicate that Hausam is the non-custodial mother of Kylee and Blake.

Oklahoma Department of Corrections records confirm that Hausam was given a deferred and a suspended sentence for multiple drug convictions in 2001.
