911 call reports Jell-o stolen from work fridge

Hey, it was strawberry!

Fridge thieves beware.

One man got tired of having his lunch and snacks pilfered from the chill chest at his work.

So when someone got sticky fingers with his food last week he decided to take matters into his own hands.

The 39 year old man complained that his food had been swiped before and this was the last straw. Or strawberry, you could say.

Cops in Berks County, Pennsylvania confirmed the man called 911 saying "an unknown person stole his Jell-O brand strawberry Jell-O snack from the break room refrigerator."

KYW-TV in Philadelphia reported the cops were understanding but not necessarily amused.

Police did visit the Wakefern Food Corporation but didn’t come away with any leads.

The department is taking it seriously enough to release a statement saying “the incident remains under investigation.”
