5th arrest made in shooting of Broken Arrow teen

TULSA, Okla. — Broken Arrow Police confirmed they have made a fifth arrest in connection to the shooting and killing of 16-year-old Dacari Green.

Police said Green was shot and left in the street to die on Jan. 24.

Tyuane Barnes, 22, was arrested on Wednesday and faces charges of first-degree murder.

Tremaine Toliver, 15,  Ky’Leigh Shaw, 15, Ja’Cori Whitmore, and Brandon Jordan, 16, were also arrested in connection with the death and are charged as adults with first-degree murder.

According to BAPD, the investigation is still ongoing.
