500 car-driving taxpayers use Tulsa airport post office to mail taxes

One couple was filling out their tax form at a counter at the last minute

It was busy last night as last-minute taxpayers dropped off their tax preparation mailings at the U.S. Postal Service station located at Tulsa International Airport.

News On 6 photojournalist Gary Kruse tells us taxpayers came through the line, asking where they could buy stamps.

He says they would park and run inside the facility where stamps were still on sale.

Several taxpayers who tried to mail their tax forms at the downtown Tulsa post office were instructed to take them to the airport facility instead.

One couple was spotted at the last minute, still filling out their tax form at a counter at the airport post office.
