East Tulsa highway open after oversized load closes off-ramp

TULSA, Okla. — UPDATE (2/6/23 1:40 P.M.) — The Oklahoma Department of Transportation said all lanes of southbound US-169 and the southbound off-ramp to 21st are now open after an earlier problem with an oversize load.

An oversized load has a highway off-ramp closed in east Tulsa.

ODOT said the ramp closed Sunday at 6:15 p.m. and will be closed until Monday at 3 p.m. The right lane of southbound US-169 will be closed at 21st through about 1 p.m. while a crane lifts the load.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) said the U.S. Highway 169 southbound off-ramp to East 21st Street is closed due to an unstable and oversized load.

Drivers are advised to use an alternate route.
