Creek Turnpike ramp closed at 209th Monday and Tuesday

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — The Creek Turnpike entrance and exit ramps at 209th E. Ave. will be closed on Monday, Feb. 6, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and Tuesday, Feb. 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (weather permitting), the City of Broken Arrow announced.

The city said the closure is necessary for the contractor to lay asphalt on New Orleans Street (101st St.) as a part of the widening project from 209th Street to 215th Street.

Flaggers will be in place to help direct east and westbound traffic. Westbound traffic will detour to the south through residential streets, back to 209th E. Ave., and reconnect to New Orleans Steet. Rush hour and school traffic are not expected to be impacted during the closure.
