TULSA, Okla. — Connor Ellis Moore of Collinsville has been arrested for possession, procurement and manufacturing to sell or distribute child pornography.

According to a probable cause affidavit - the investigation started in the beginning of March.

Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) said that is to thanks to a Internet Crimes Against Children tip from the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation.

Those accounts were mainly Snapchat and Kik.

The tip indicated that a social media profile registered to Moore contained images of child pornography.

TCSO Communication Director Casey Roebuck said these tips usually follow through.

“Usually these tips are right on the money and unfortunately that’s the case this time.”

During a search warrant, graphic images of child sexual abuse were discovered.

According to the affidavit Moore had videos in his possession of prepubescent females with grown men and even a video of a “reluctant” toddler being abused.

“Mr. Moore was receiving and trading these photos with other users on these social media accounts,” said Roebuck.

Roebuck said the Child Predator Unit was formed only last January but has made over 50 arrests - and they believe many more predators are out there.

“If you have a child with these accounts its not a matter of if they’ll get approached by a predator - it’s when and how often,” said Roebuck.

Roebuck said it is very important to talk to your children about social media and the people on it.

“Handing your child a cellphone with all of these capabilities, like Snapchat and Facebook and Kik and all these social media accounts, is like handing them a gun and not teaching them how to use it safely.”
