Things to do: Union High School performs the musical 'Cats'

Show runs Wednesday through Saturday

Tulsa is a city that loves its theatre.

Celebrity Attractions regularly sells out the PAC for shows like Wicked, Fiddler on the Roof and Disney's The Lion King.

Local high schools also put on high quality productions and one of those comes up this week.

The musical runs 7 p.m. nightly, Wednesday through Saturday, February 6-9.

The Union High School Fine Arts Department is proud to present the all-school musical of "Cats," featuring the now-classic song standard "Memory."

Directed by Troy Powell, the musical features live music, singing and dancing involving students from around the Union school district including several elementary schools.

“This exciting production showcases the talents of more than 175 talented Union students,” said Ed Tackett, director of Fine Arts.

A number of other students have also assisted in setting up the stage and serving as stage crew.
