Tulsa Police investigating woman’s body found near east Tulsa school

TULSA, Okla. — Police say they are investigating after the remains of a woman were found in east Tulsa.

Officers say they received a report of remains found near 12000 E. 31st St. around 6 p.m. near Ellen Ochoa Elementary School on Thursday night.

They say the body had been there for “a while” and are working on identifying the person.

Detectives say it’s possible the victim could be a missing woman but are working to gather more information.
