Man on shooting spree after divorce tossed

It was the last straw.

Authorities say the man accused of firing shots at five public places in Maryland learned his petition for divorce was tossed out at the height of the shooting streak.

Authorities say 35-year-old Hong Young of Beltsville, Maryland, filed for divorce in September.

But the case was dismissed Monday because his wife had not been served with the papers.

Police say Young chose targets at random, including a building of the National Security Agency.

No one was seriously injured.
