Man gets shot in the neck, alleged suspect surrenders after standoff

We have updated information regarding a late Saturday morning shooting near East King and North Sheridan.

Tulsa police say the alleged shooter is in custody, following a standoff at a house on N. Irvington Ave. between Yale and Sheridan Saturday night.

The unidentified suspect is accused of shooting a man in the neck.  His injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.

We're told a witness at the shooting scene was able to give officers "limited information" about the suspect.  No word on if that information helped investigators track the suspect down to the home where the standoff occurred.

As of early Sunday morning, the suspect hasn't been booked into the Tulsa County Jail.  Police say he was taken to an area hospital.

A possible motive for the shooting hasn't been released and the weapon hasn't been recovered.
