Friend taken into custody after leaving with robbery suspect

A night out with a friend turned dangerous early Sunday morning.

Tulsa police say a victim and his friend were having a night out, when a third man was picked up.  The victim didn't know the third person.

While inside a vehicle, the third man began assaulting the victim.  Officers were told the third person may have used a gun, but it's not confirmed.

A short time later, the third person forced the victim out of his own vehicle.   The victim's friend stayed inside the vehicle with the third man and they took off down the road.

Police say the victim was left on the side of the road on North 53rd West Avenue.  His injuries are said to be non-life threatening.

Officers were able to find the victim's friend and take him into custody.  The stolen vehicle has also been located.

So far, the third man is still on the loose.
