Driver killed in minivan crash

(TULSA) - A car smashed into a disabled van on Highway 412 Monday morning.

The driver of the car was killed. It happened near the 81st West Avenue Exit on the east side of Sand Springs.

Troopers with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol say no one was in or around the disabled van at the time of the crash.

The car was eastbound when it left the roadway and hit the van on the shoulder.

The driver's name has not been released. Troopers are investigating what caused the driver to hit the van on the side of the road.
