Apartments fire affects three residents

A kitchen fire spreads to an apartment upstairs near 51st and Lewis.

Tulsa firefighters had to track down a fire that spread from a cook stove and traveled through the wall about 1:06 a.m. Wednesday at the Lewiston apartments at 5240 South Lewis Avenue.

The fire and smoke traveled to the apartment wall upstairs, causing firemen to spend about 90-minutes at the scene tracking down and putting the fire out.

Three adults were displaced for the night.

No one was injured.
