1-year-old dies in single-vehicle crash

We've learned two people are dead and another is in critical condition, after a single-vehicle crash yesterday afternoon in Pittsburg County.

The crash happened on County Road Burris Valley, around 5:23 p.m.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol say a Chevy Trail Blazer was headed westbound, when the driver left the roadway for an unknown reason multiple times.  The vehicle then overturned two and a half times.

All four occupants were then ejected from the vehicle.

The driver, Jennifer Pierce, was declared dead at the scene.  Also, 1-year-old Jake Pierce was declared dead at the scene.

OHP says a 49-year-old passenger is in critical condition.

The other passenger is listed in stable condition.
