The man drove through the parking lot of the store, ran into several cars and then rammed the car into the store. Fittingly, he came to a stop near the beer.
If that wasn’t strange enough, the guy followed that up by jumping out of his car and beginning to whack people with a metal bar.
The fellow was eventually overcome by other customers in the San Jose store and was eventually taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries. Four of the shoppers also went to the hospital, one with serious injuries.
No motive yet in the rampage, police told the Los Angeles Times "we don’t know if there was an intended target or not."
