TULSA, Okla. - Tulsa Police are investigating after a woman was shot in her apartment near I-44 and Utica.
The call went out shortly after 2 P.M.
The victim told investigators that she heard a loud bang and then noticed that she had been shot in the lower leg.
Officers determined that the bullet was fired from an apartment two apartments down from where the woman was hit.
An apartment manager provided officers with a key allowing officers to look for potential other victims in the apartment where the shot was fired from.
KRMG is told that the apartment was unoccupied when officers entered.
Officers say that, with today being St. Patrick's Day, it is possible that alcohol is involved but that is just speculation at this point.
